Have you done this??
Morning everyone,
I originally sent this message on Thursday, but it hasn't shown up on the group
yet, so I am sending it again. If it turns up twice, my apologies in advance.
I have to build an sqr report which will be on regular paper, landscape
orientation (the last of the ordinary requirements) and consist of 100 static
rows (on 2 pages) and an *undefined* (up to infinite) number of columns. This
report is being converted from a mainframe application. What it actually looks
like is a regular report 90 degrees out of whack.
What I have determined by thinking about this is the following: I can't use
regular a headings section to deal with the column headings and I can't use
on-break to deal with the heading when they change to accumulate group totals.
Has anyone ever done anything like this before? Is there an easy way to handle
this? So far the only thing I can think of is to process the program through
an array, but I am hoping for something a little simpler.
