Multiple Report Outputs

I've read thru the archives looking for something to
answer the following. So if the answer is there I
must of missed it.

We are running an sqr through a batch job. The
output of this sqr needs to be multiple files,
potentially 900 invidual files need to be created.

The number of files and the file names are determined
dynamically at run time. These files need to be both
printer ready and viewable online.

We are currently opening the files dynamically for
writing and using the write statement to create .txt
files. This is all fine and dandy except that it
seems you can't use any of the on-break logic with
write statements. Which has us using line printer
logic for placing the headers, etc..

This is not the best solution considering we are
using laser printers and don't want the users to have
to format the reports before printing them.

I was told that using PRINTwith NEW-REPORT instead of
WRITE would limit us to 100 output files. Is this
true?

If so how can I create an SQR using all of the paging
logic to create the .lis and .spf files that this
user requires??

If an SQR calls an SQR (can this be done? if so
please send me the syntax) I was thinking of having
the first SQR determine the output required and have
it call the second sqr for each set of reports.
Would this solve the problem of a maximum number of
output files for PRINT with NEW-REPORT.

Sorry this was so long winded.. Please Advise.
