SQR can't find SPF

This is related to an earlier listing I posted.
After upgrading from SQR V3.0.7.1 to SQR V3.0.13.3 I get an error message
from sqr viewer stating that the .spf file cannot be found.  In fact, sqr is
creating a .lis file and outputting it to the spl directory correctly, but
it is not creating a corresponding .spf file.  Can anyone tell me why?
