SQR is the name of the programming language. It is now in it's
4th major version. So people sometimes call it SQR 4.
SQR3 Workbench (or SQR4 Workbench) is the Windows/95/NT version
of the product that includes an integrated program editor,
SPF viewer.
SQR also has a number command-line oriented products, and these
are sometimes referred to as SQR. They are SQR (compiler), SQRT
(SQT executor), SQRP (SQR printer). Under Windows, these include
SQRW, SQRWT, SQRWP, SQRWV (an SPF viewer).
Workbench is a good program to use if you're writing SQR programs
on a PC. Personally, I prefer to write programs using a text
editor and then use the command line version of the product
to compile, execute, and print reports.
