Hello,
Thank you for your reply.  Today we isolated the problem but do not know if
it is a bug with SQR or just they way the system has to process the select.
 We are on Informix 7.22.
What we found out is that every time the commit happens the SQR cycle is
broken and the select has to run all over again for some reason.  It seems
that the select should just resume from the last record processed but for
some reason (maybe since the commit is executed the select's integrity has
been violated) the select has to process again before resuming processing.
