We have run into exactly the same problem with SQR 3.x and SQL
Server 6.5. I worked on it for a couple of weeks but in the end
found no other solution then going back to version 2.5 and creating
a handful of VB-utilities and BAT-files to work around the limitations
of the DOS-version. It is ugly but it works.
That's my experience. I really hope there will be a SQL Server version
of SQR for Win95/WinNT as we have developed a lot of reports in SQR
and it would take months to convert them to another report engine,
Crystal Report for example.
