Re: Uncompiling an SQT.




I think we are OK now.  Well not totally.  I think the old version is
gone entirely (not even an SQT), so nothing may be able to be done.  But
this is an issue that has arisen before and I anticipate will occur in 
the future (VMS Purge is quite dangerous at times).  The loss of the 
original programmer has obviously complicated the issue.

I am intersted in finding out what can be done if this ever occurs again.
I will check through our support channel for SQR.  I will share my results.

Scott has a very good point about uncompiling SQT into SQR. What happen is SQR
version get deteted by accident and only left is compiling version (SQT)? I
think MITI will help about this subject. If MITI doesn't have the uncompile
software to do just that, then they have to think about developing one. I 
would
interest in this subject too. Thanks
