Hello all you "Oracle Heads"!!
I have a slight problem I am hoping you can help me with.
I have recently converted from V6 to V7.1.3.2 on a MIPS ABI system. Along with
this we have decided to convert our SQR reports to PL/SQL2. (an attempt to save
a little cash!)
All these new PL/SQL reports are now running an average of 25% longer than the
SQR using the exact same SQL code.
It appears once the first page is displayed it runs just fine through the rest.
Does the "PL/SQL startup process (so to speak)" have that much overhead??
Has anyone else noticed this?

Any suggestions on speeding this up would be of great help!!!

Thanks!
