Hi Arun:
I don't think you can encode data using any SQR function. But, Oracle has some
packages for encoding data.
Try your luck in this link:

Subject: [sqr-users] plain text into base-64 encoded Unicode text
Hi all,
I need to send a text for resetting the password to another utility in a
Unicode format and base-64 encoded.
There are several utility on web that can convert a string in this format.
Here is how one such utility works..
Q:\download>stringconverter \"stringtochange\" /encode /unicode
IgBzAHQAcgBpAG4AZwB0AG8AYwBoAGEAbgBnAGUAIgA=
the unicoded and encoded value for the string "stringtochange" =
'IgBzAHQAcgBpAG4AZwB0AG8AYwBoAGEAbgBnAGUAIgA='
But I need to do it within the sqr either using SQR funtions or ORACLE function
availalable.
Can this be done?
any help or direction would be nice...
Arun Kumar
