[sqr-users] 8.5 report builder bug??

We are testing all of our current reports on 
SQR Version: 8.5.0.0.0.566/PC/Windows 2000/Oracle 9.2.0.1/Dec 27 2005

In general, they compile (and run) fine.  If we 
    * Run them in the 8.5 report builder: fine.  
    * Make a change to the code and run in the 8.5 builder, fine.
    * Make a change, save, then run in the 8.5 builder, fine.
    * Compile from the DOS command line, on a file that has not yet
    been edited with the 8.5 builder, fine.

    *** Save the file with the 8.5 report builder, then compile 
    from the DOS command line, it blows up with:

        Error on line XXXX:
            (SQR 4705) Program line too long; maximum is 2047. 

        Once for each line in the program.

Now here is the wacky part.  If we:
    * Open the file in the 8.5 builder, then exit without saving;
      compiling in DOS works fine.

We've noted also that when saving any program with the 8.5 builder, 
the file size is twice as large as it was before being edited.  
Further, the action of opening and closing the program with the 
8.5 builder, with no save, returns the file to its original size.
