Re: [sqr-users] PGP

I am not sure exactly but I think PGP and GPG are compatible with each
other. If you do need to buy PGP though you should be okay with the one
key version. That refers to you only having one private key/public key
pair of your own. You'd still have no limit to how many public keys
you import from other people/companies.

Typically people or companies don't need more than one key pair, but
for various reasons others might - I guess the PGP folks want to charge
more for that, though I can't see why it costs them any more to allow
you to use two keys.

Thanks for the response.
Our vendors need our files PGP encrypted and they have sent us PGP
public keys to import.
Can we still use GPG? Or do we have to buy PGP command line?
Also when buying PGP command line they ask for '1 Key' version or
'Unlimited' key version.

Typically most clients use GNU Privacy Guard (GPG) which is the open
source implementation of PGP (OpenPGP)
