Is the LIS file you have plain text (as opposed to PCL or Postscript)?
If so, I agree that Peter B.'s suggestion of using a "conversion" SQR
program to read in the LIS file and generate a new SPF file as output is
going to be your best bet.

Depending on the complexity of your LIS file it's probably overkill for
your situation, but you may find this "lis_to_spf" program does what you
need:
