RE: [sqr-users] Excel cell limitation

While this is an EXCEL issue and not an SQR issue - my guess is this, based
upon the following experience.... I think excel is interpretting the 16
digit number as a credit card (since credit cards are 16 digits long) and is
using the 0 as a security feature... The reason I think this may be
happening is that I was using excel for tracking my credit card information
in case the cards were ever stolen, and I noticed this happening; the last
digit being replaced as a 0.

I am not certain how to fix it - perhaps treating it like a character or
doing something manual when you open the file...

Hello all:

I am new to this forum....
My sqr program is producing a CSV file report ... in one of the field, a
16 digit number is inserted ... but EXCEL truncates the last digit and puts
a 0 in its place ... for instance if my sqr program inserts a value of
1234567890123456 in the csv field, then the excel makes it as
"1234567890123450" so, the last digit is replaced with a 0 ... does any one
know how to resolve this issue?
   Thanks in advance.
   Vg
