landscape.

I'm using the following script in my code and I'm using unix
   declare-layout landscape2
 paper-size= (8.5,14,legal)
 orientation = landscape
 top-margin = 0.2
 bottom-margin = 0.05
 left-margin = 0.25
 max-columns = 260
 char-width = 4.32
 line-height = 10
 end-declare
  but somehow when I run it the pdf report generated is still in
portrait and letter. Is there any default settings which must be
overwritten.
