It depends on the type of barcode but 30 characters is the upper limit
for all types in the 4.3 documentation.

If I understand barcodes in sqr, there is a limit of 30 characters that
can be encoded into a barcode. 
Is this correct, or can I fit a lot more data into a barcode?
