[sqr-users] Performance issues with PAY003 in HR 8.9/PT 8.46

We are upgrading to HR 8.9/PT 8.46 from HR 8.3/PT8.19.  I am noticing
serious performance degradation with PAY003/DDP003.  In 8.3, it will zip
thru 11k checks in 10 mins.  In 8.9, it takes about 2 hours.  We run DB2 v8
on z/OS v1.6.  When I run this same program on the batch server (NT), it
completes in about 20 mins, so it is something specific to the mainframe.
PS is telling me that they have at least one other customer reporting a
similar issue, but they are coming from PT 8.43.

Has anyone else out there had a similar problem?
