Hi,
I am writing an SQR to compare the Payroll data in two separate databases.
One of the databases is the test instance and the other is the production
instance. I will be comparing the Pay Components of each employee for the
given Pay Run Id in both the databases and report the difference.
The problem is that the *Line_Num and Page_Num may not be the same in the
two databases*. In that case I am having trouble comparing the values from
Earnings,Deduction and Tax tables where an employee is identified by the
Line_Num and Page_Num.
Has anyone done such a requirement before? Any ideas on how to achieve the
comparison?
Any creative suggestions?
