.LIS files depend on the fonts inside the printer. So unless your
printer has a MICR font built in (which, oddly enough, few printers
do), you can't do it directly.  Different printers have different ways
of adding fonts.  Some you can download "soft" fonts.  Some use SIMM
cards.  You'll have to check with the vendor of the printer to see how
to add a MICR font to the printer.
