we don't do it that way. I suspect you may have positioning trouble in that sqr
native print stmnts may not provide enough precision relative to micr line
positioning.
in our situation, the micr, postnet, logo, and signiture are hard fonts
installed on the target printer; the only good accounting control / security
method to use.
That aside, we encode the specific printer font command and vertical horiztal
positioning commands into variables that we string out as one sqr print
statement. That way we have absolute to the accuracy positioning ability of the
printer control as to the position and alignment of micr line (and logo and
signiture).

We are trying to print the MICR line on our paycheck using PAY003.SQR. I
have set up font 620 in the PSSQR.INI file as shown below. I have also
loaded MICRe13b4.ttf as a Windows font. When I use the -PRINTER:HP and
-KEEP options, I can see in the .SPF file that the MICR font is not
used. Also, when I print the .LIS file the MICR font is not used. Has
anyone experienced this problem before? We are using an HP LaserJet 5N
printer.
