RE: [sqr-users] Retro general deductions question

As long as the provider is feeding you elections, you should be able to have
PeopleSoft generate current and retro deductions. It's like using the web or a
VRU to capture the election and PeopleSoft does the calculations.

If the provider is only supplying the deduction amount and it's being treated
as a general deduction, then there's no easy way to generate retro deductions.

Subject: [sqr-users] Retro general deductions question

I realize that this is an sqr users list but I thought I would throw out
this question. We have outsourced our benefits processing and now the
benefits clients are struggling with retro active deduction and refund
processing. They don't want to (and it doesn't seem to work) when they
try using retro ben (obviously for benefit deductions). Have any of your
companies outsourced benefits processing and been asked to 'automate'
retro general deduction processing? If so, did you create your own retro
process?

thanks.
