Hi Sasi,

The show statement should display the string that includes the variable 
value.  From your original question, you said


> let $strinput = 'Enter TEST REPORT NUMBER ' || 'for the EQNUM : ' ||
> $strEQNUM

so when you show the field $strinput, the text should include the variable 
value for $strEQNUM.

Am I missing something?
