You will find few differences between Sql Server development and
DB2. Some of the function syntax is different, of course.

I am not certain if Unix can even use ODBC. I think I heard new
versions can. If there are not other SQR programmers at your site,
your best bet is to talk to the DB2 devlopers or DBAs and ask them
for an understanding of how to connect to the server in general. You
will be able to translate that for SQR.

SQR syntax is Unix syntax. You will find few differences except on
flags that database specific or windows specific. Go here for more
info: http://www.ontko.com/sqr/sqrcard6.html#SQR_COMMAND_LINE

You would be well-served to become friendly with a unix developer
at your work.
