Re: [sqr-users] RE: Difference between SQR Process and SQR report
Hello,
I use SQR_Process and SQR_Report in my job.
Because, SQR_Process is better if you just have to handle data without
any report.
Neither as the SQR_Report who can be use for printing Report and API.
In fact you can distribut Report to one Server and Process to an Other.

I don't see any reason to use SQR Process either. I thought that's what I
said. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I use SQR Report for all SQR jobs I
develop.

Denise -
We use 'SQR Report' exclusively. I don't see any reason to used 'SQR
Process' over 'SQR Report', but there are several reasons to use 'SQR
Report'. The main reason being that if you use 'SQR Process', the Process
Scheduler will not pass the Operator Id or Run Control ID to the program,
and things will not work properly.
Also, I've noticed that when using 'SQR Process', the API(application
Program interface) stuff(ie. process instance, etc...) is not made
available in the program.
