Hi,

All that information is correct; however I am still getting the error.
Can it be because of the clustered database on two servers?

Vito:

When you define the data direct driver, specify the hostname, port
number,
and the sid for the database.  If any of these are wrong then you will
get
the error message as you indicated......

I apologize if this forum is not the correct one for this question.

I have just installed Hyperion SQR Developer 8.2.

I am trying to create my connection to an Oracle clustered database.

When I use the drivers (SQR ODBC Driver for Oracle version 4.20.00.08)
that
were installed I get the following error message:

 

[DataDirect][ODBC Oracle Wire Protocol driver] Invalid attribute in
connection string...............

 

I do have the Oracle Client installed on my winXP machine.

Is there a latest version of the SQR drivers? Or should I just use
Oracle's
drivers?
