RE: [sqr-users] Encrypting SQR output

It has been my experience that you need to create the file and then encrypt
it using third party software (PGP, GPG, etc) or OS specific commands (Md5,
etc) with a shell script. I guess it would be possible to close the
existing output from within the program and then execute the third party
software using a call system from within sqr. But, I don't believe that sqr
has any built in encryption.
Also, I don't know if winzip peforms 128 bit encrytion, but you want 128 bit
or above.

hope this helps

Comrades,

As you'll have guessed from the title, I'd like to encrypt SQR output
because it's intimate payroll data. I was hoping to do it just with some
flag, but failing that I was thinking of CALL SYSTEM and winzip. I searched
the archive and it mentioned PGP (or something) - third party software.

I'd be very grateful if someone could tell me how to send SQR one way or
another. If the solution involves third party software, please describe it.
Many thanks.
