RE: [sqr-users] SQR Error while opening file - Urgent please help!

What is the usual file size? How much available RAM do you have on the
server? Your system admin may need to set your file size memory allocation
larger. Or, he may need to allocate some more hard drive space to the
tempory file areas, or swap areas.

If nothing else, if possible, break the file into smaller parts and see if
you can process then that way.

Hi everybody,

We have a Unix/Solaris environment. We are using PeopleSoft ver 8.3 tools.
We are running an SQR that reads a flat file and inserts data into the
PeopleSoft Oracle database. We have been running this program successfully
for a while until today.

Today, the program failed with an unable to open file error. The file is 6.4
GB. The status on the OPEN command is unsuccessful. However, this runs fine
on the client with the same file.

Other smaller files are being processed. We are stumped!! Any help would be
appreciated.
