Jamie,
No. The printer type is not meant to be known until the output
is rendered for a particular printer. In other words, SQR is
designed so that you can say "-keep -nolis" when you run SQR,
and then later use SQRP with "-printer:xx" to generate output
for the desired printer type.
In SQR version 8.0, it became possible to define multiple
image files (one for each type) in a declare-image or print-image
command. The idea here is to allow you SQRP to pick the appropriate
image type based on the output format. See the FOR-PRINTER option
for DECLARE-IMAGE or PRINT-IMAGE.
BTW, I doubt that this feature made it into any of the PeopleSoft
versions of SQR. Alas, this may be a casualty of forking.
