RE: [sqr-users] Memory fault

I had encountered such a problem when I was using BRIO Portal to run a SQR
report.This problem was due to the memory space problem.I deleted some of
the outputs and the error was no more there. Hope that this info is useful
to u.

Subject: [sqr-users] Memory fault

Hi all -

We just migrated to SQR 8.0.2 from 6.1.3. Our database is Oracle
9.2.0.4.0 on HP-UX 11.22.

We have one program (so far) which errored out on us, giving the
following:

    ARIES32: Core file for PA32 application saved to
/apps/appworx_prd/run/core.sqr

    /apps/appworx_prd/exec/SQRPW[24]: 10083 Memory fault(coredump)

After some trial and error, it seems that the error was being caused by
the -M file. That file looks like:

!UB400C.DAT  Sizing Parameters for UB400C.SQR

!The following line must be included because of the long

!policy which is now included

STRINGSPACE=65535

SQLSIZE=65535

PROGLINES=32767

PROGLINEPARS=65535

NUMVARIABLES=10000

VARIABLES=3000

POSITIONS=2000

EXPRESSIONSPACE=20480

QUERIES=1000

QUERYARGS=65535

FORWARDREFS=1000

SUBVARS=5000

Can anyone see any reason for this problem?

Thanks!

Jon
