Thanks for the response.  I understand your position and I'm sure you're
not the person in Hyperion who makes the business critical decisions.

We're in the process of trying to determine whether the SQR License for
Linux that we purchased is worthless or not and whether SQR will make it
to our next production server implementation (Linux based).

It this point it doesn't look very good, we are going to pursue this
topic with some sales related people in your company.

I can downgrade one of our Linux servers to Redhat AS 2.1 (I'll split
off the mirrored systems disks before hand, just in case) and hopefully
the sqrmake will work.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1 is compatible with Red Hat Linux 7.x/8.x
and
therefore you should not have any problems running "sqrmake".

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 is compatible with Red Hat Linux 9.0 and
you
will note that SQR is not certified on either platform.  Your other area
of
concern are the database libraries which SQR needs to utilize.  Are they
compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0?  Please note that in your
original email, the Oracle libraries themselves were complaining too.

As to when SQR will be compatible with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3.0 ---
You
should know I cannot answer that question.  I like getting paid on a
regualr
basis.
