If you're ordering by the date field including hours & minutes then
you're ordering by any lesser precision of that field.
If however you mean that you want to order by date, then something
else, like name, how about
Day(datefield)

Larry,
If you are using Oracle try
order by trunc(thedate)

Hello All,
I have a date field that includes hours and minutes and I am trying to
get
my order by to only look at the mm/dd/yyyy. Suggestions?
Thank you in advance for your time.
