[sqr-users] SPECIAL CHARACTERS

Hi all,
I am a little confused.  I am running an sqr using a Mexican employee, and
when I run it through sqrw, it works perfect, placing the accents where they
are supposed to be over the name Raul and the company Tecnologico, but when
I run the same sqr in PeopleSoft through the process scheduler,  the name
Raul is displayed both on-line in the report output and in the printed
hardcopy output as RaA(with a ~ over it)Ēl.  Tecnologico is displayed as
TechnolA(with a ~over it)Ēgico.  
What is different between the two? 
Any help as to where to begin to look would be appreciated.
