Check your settings in UltraEdit.  It should be able read the file even if 
it is still being written to. 

I think the setting is "Lock file when editing" this must be disabled.

Hi group,

We are running SQR 4.3.4

When we run SQRs under UNIX we are able to open the log files before the
report finishes.  Very handy for checking on the progress of long-running
reports.
When we run them under Windows we are presented with a sharing violation
message when we attempt to look at the log files using UltraEdit or 
Notepad.

Is there a way to observe these log files under Windows or is this a
'feature' of the DOS version of SQR?
