RE: Feedback - [sqr-users] SQR Command - Print and Delete
I'm not sure about this, but if "new-report" closes the print file, you
could then use the delete function in a let statement;
let #status = delete($filename)

There is no sqr option to do that. You will need to use a NT .bat file.
You can modify the Peoplesoft process scheduler to execute the .bat file
instead of tunning sqrw directly. The .bat file will process all the input
parms specified by peoplesoft, run sqr, print the file, then delete it.
Cheers, Steve.

Subject: FW: Feedback - [sqr-users] SQR Command - Print and Delete
Hello SQR user group. I would like to revisit my issue again. Mr. Wulfson
was very kind and provided \a possible solution. It is a very good idea but
we are running SQRs in an NT environment. NT does not provide the same type
of command file processing.
Here's my question: Is there a SQR run request parameter that would
designate the SQR listing to be printed and then automatically delete?
There are means of writing a batch process to work as a file
maintenance/cleanup but I'm hoping there is a more automated means.
Your ideas and assistance are most welcome and appreciated.
Thank you.

You need to run the sqr out of a batch process. First command is to
execute the sqr. This should return a value of 0 to the system. If this is
0 next command would be to the operating system to delete the file. If
it's UNIX the command would be rm $file.
Thanks,

Please help me with this issue.
Description: Printed reports with confidential information remain on log
output directory, directory name log_output, as file with "lis" file
extension. The log output directory is on the network.
Objective: Print and automatically delete "lis" files from log output
directory.
Question: How can I define to SQR run PeopleSoft 8.4 to print and then
delete the "lis" file?
Example of current SQR command to print:
SQR Command =
i:\fn84\bin\sqr\ora\binw\sqrw I:\fn84\SQRSH\TEST.sqr */*@PRFN
-oI:\fn84\appserv\prcs\log_output\sqr_TEST_674169.out
-xmb -xcb -xi -iI:\fn84\SQRSH\;I:\fn84\SQR\;\;\
-ZIFI:\fn84\SQR\PSSQR.INI
"-fI:
\fn84\appserv\prcs\PRFN\log_output\SQR_GLS1901S_674169\test_674169.LIS"
-PRINTER:LP PRFN 674169 104949 GLREPORT
Issued to Printer:
Copy
""I:\fn84\appserv\prcs\PRFN\log_output\SQR_TEST_674169\TEST_674169.LIS""
""\\PRTSRVR09\PRINTER01"
