RE: [sqr-users] Re: Knowledge Transfer and naive PC do-gooders
Hi All SQR/Peoplesoft Gurus,
I hope you are doing fine today.
Let me break my silence on this burning issue. Any www you go this issue is
there. I feel that if USA companies want to remain competitive they have to
do out-sourcing. They have no other choice. They have discovered the hidden
treasure of highly skilled talent at low cost at the source. In 1990s they
brought on H1B/L1 visa the techies. But due to economy downturn all
companies have taken U-turn and started hiring at source itself. I feel and
think this is irreversible now as it is happening at a very large scale.
We all have to think globally as these companies are thinking and moving.
Families will have to become global.
I know Peoplesoft applications is one of the worst hit by this. Indian
companies have tons of Peoplesoft resources available. These companies sales
person are hitting Peoplesoft installations at US companies and taking it
offshore.
Lets hope some miracle happens and all this stops.
Have a nice day and great weekend.
Regards.
Ashish Bhatt.
