RE: [sqr-users] Embed JPG in PDF File

I don't think so. It might work for printer:ht (html).

For pdf, all you need to do is FTP image files (binary mode) to a unix
directory, then specify the full unix path into source declaration. Be sure
the permissions allow image file accessibility. The image will go wherever
the pdf file goes.

Subject: [sqr-users] Embed JPG in PDF File

I've seen several postings on this but I can't seem to the answer straight,
maybe it's because of the different version of SQR out there Peoplesoft/BRIO

We're running SQR 6.0(BRIO) on HPUX. We need to create output in PDF format
so we're specifying '-PRINTER:PD'. The sqr program contains 'jpeg-file' in
the TYPE section of the PRINT-IMAGE command and we're specifying the full
path of the .JPG file in the SOURCE section. The .JPG file is located on W2K
as the PDF file will be copied to this location when it has run. The PDF
file is being created OK but we have a box with diagonal lines where the
.JPG file should be. Is it possible to create a PDF file on HPUX with the
location of the .JPG file, copy it to W2K where the .JPG is located and
display it correctly? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
