Re: [sqr-users] oracle and peoplesoft

My opinion... The Justice Dept/SEC will not allow this one to go down.

PSA: Salary <> Slavery. If you earn a salary, your employer is renting your
services for 40 hours a week, not purchasing your soul. Your time is the
only real finite asset that you have, and once used it can never be
recovered, so don't waste it by giving it away.

"Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you
can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people
spend it for you."

Carl Sandburg

Hey Ray and gang,
Trolling as a CIO these days but still keeping my eye on the list...

First the deal has to be consummated. Will that happen? If so, how will
they
support 2 different front ends if they do, is the big question.

As for Brio...LOL...I could have bought the company considering the stock
price
but the offshorers took away all of my business! But watch out....SQL
Server
is coming out with its own reporting tool and could be based on VB. That
would
be a bigger worry.

And lastly...SQR will never die off. Too many devotees and in today's
times,
its no longer "keeping up with the Jones".

Just my two cents,
Sam
