Re: [sqr-users] why isn't this working? phase ][

All,

I slapped the select into an array, and I am processing the array. It isn't
as elegant as I wanted, but as long as it works. Thank you for your help.

PS I had to disable the on-error functionality for 'inoperative' objects.

PSA: Salary <> Slavery. If you earn a salary, your employer is renting your
services for 40 hours a week, not purchasing your soul. Your time is the
only real finite asset that you have, and once used it can never be
recovered, so don't waste it by giving it away.

"Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you
can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people
spend it for you."

Oracle does in fact commit when you execute DDL, but that closes only
FOR UPDATE cursors; within PL/SQL loops I do stuff like this all the
time. In any case, I'd find it hard to blame Larry Ellison, tempting
though it be, for problems with 'db2 udb v7.2'
