RE: [sqr-users] SQR Unix env. variable setting

I already did that pssqr.unx on the Unix side its called.
But no luck. Since the developer only run this particular sqr once a
month, I figured let's put in that sqr, but how?

Thanks,
Nelson

Thanks for the reply, however let me explain further why that is not
working for us:
The NLS_LANG is set correctly when run from the command line or autosys,
BUT NOT from the process scheduler it always sets it to NLS_LANG=UTF8,
which we don't want. So going back to my original question: how would you
set a Unix env variable WITHIN an SQR script using the sqr syntax?
If that is possible at all. I did a truss on the psadmin and surely enough
it sets NLS_LANG=UTF8, now is there a way to pass NLS_LANG via psadmin?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Nelson

We set UNIX variables in the .profile of the user that is going to run
the SQR.

e.g in our case user psoftut runs PeopleSoft SQR and we set all the
variables in the users .profile .

How do you set a Unix environment variable(say, NLS_LANG) within your
SQR
script?
I'm a sysadmin trying to help an SQR developer, so go figure<smile>.

Any assistance is highly appreciated.
