[sqr-users] VMS platform users

Ray, just to let you know that I received no replies from this listserv.

We have 25 known  higher education institutions using SQR on a VMS
platform.  A large percentage of these institutions are in the SUNY
organization.

In working with a Julia Link of Brio Product Marketing, she is trying to
work with the technical people in getting 4.3.5 to link with Oracle
9.2.  According to the SUNY technical people, they need a MAKE9.com file
in order to link sqr with Oracle 9.2.  They were lucky in that the
MAKE8.com file worked with Oracle 9.1.  The reason for the error
(problem) is because the Oracle directory structure has changed  in
version 9.2.0.2.

The key point is that we all have been and are paying for SUPPORT.  We
paid $3,900 for maintenance support for this year alone.

Julia Link is sending me the official documentation for the de-support
of the VMS platform and other platforms.
