[sqr-users] Questions regarding PROGLINEPARS

Folks ...

I've got a real problem.  We are using SQR 4.3.4 for our custom billing
application build on PeopleTools 7.58. 

Our complex billing application, built in SQR, that produce customers bills
and has been in Production for over 2 years requires a significant
functional enhancement.  However, we are to the point that we cannot add
much functionality without getting the error.   By restructuring code a bit,
taking out debug statements, etc. we have gotten by this problem so far but
this won't work for the large enhancement planned.
(SQR 4401) Out of param storage; use -Mfile to increase PROGLINEPARS.

Well, my problem is we have already set the value for this parameter to
65535 in allmaxes.max.    And we still have the error.

What options do we have besides splitting apart the SQR and its SQCs into
smaller separate programs?  This is not the option I want to pursue since
I've got to think that the 65K value if generally arbitrary and I have
capacity on my system to increase it greater .. if I could increase it
greater.

My understanding is that newer versions of SQR don't increase the max
PROGLINEPARS value.

So far, no silver bullet from PeopleSoft and I don't expect one so I'm
hoping that one of you has a solution.
