On Unix, you can find description of system errors in files :
      /usr/include/sys/errno.h
or
      /usr/include/errno.h

2 means "No such file or directory".

  when using the command "rename" in an SQR, a value of 2 is returned
rather than 0 which is
  for success, meaning there is an error.  What I'd like to know is what
the number 2 stands
  for.
