Norman,
I gave that a shot, still no luck. I'm sure that the font I am using
has bold capabilities, because I use the same one in headings and other
places when they are bold. So, it must be between my printer and the file.
I am running the PeopleSoft 8.41 version of SQR. Maybe that has something
to do with it. Any other options?

Please respond
to sqr-users
ENCODE '<27>(s3B' INTO $myBold works for me in SQR4
note the single quotes outside the whole expression and NO Spaces and case
sensitive.
Remember, anytime you use a capital letter, you are Terminating the HPCL
string,
the next command must start with another Esc.
and if the font you are using does not have a BOLD version resident, the Lj
will print normal rather than nothing...
that could be your problem with no bold
Hope this helps
Norman Dolph
