Re: dynamic variables
Nathan, Thanks for your response.
Our dynamic variables are used as parameters and passed to a PS COBOL
program. For example, an SQR processes in process scheduler with the
users app level USERID and PASS - get's parameters - then within the SQR
we kick of PS COBOL via 'call system' (repeats for X times).
Unfortunately, when we call PS COBOL via 'call system' we have to
reconnect to the DB using sysadm and we're looking for an alternative to
using sysadm ...
I'm not seeing how the example below would help us?
begin-procedure get_data
begin-select loops=10
col1
! do your processing
from table1
where col2=$name
end-select
end-procedure
