Re: Italics in SQR's SPF file

In the SQR.INI file 32 is defined as Times-Italic. You
can add Times Italic by using it before the print
statement:

ALTER-PRINTER FONT=32 POINT-SIZE=9

If you want to use it with Arial or other style, You
have to add an entry into [Fonts] section of SQR.INI:
900=Arial Italic,proportional
and add an entry to [PDF Fonts] section of SQR.INI:
900=Helvetica-Oblique

Remember 901 is for bold italics in both the cases.

Then set the font to italics using:
alter-printer font=900 font-type=PROPORTIONAL
point-size=#point_size_in

It works for Windows, PDF, and SPF. For HP use
following:
encode '<27>(s4t1S' into $hp_italic
encode '<27>(s4t0S' into $hp_normal

Then for italics use: print $hp_italic ()
code-printer=HP and to get back to normal use: print
$hp_normal () code-printer=HP

You'll find more details on this topic in archives.

Hope this help
