Re: utility sqr needed



I think we just covered this not long ago.
In UNIX I'd use the GREP command.  It can easily be formatted to produce a
list file.
In windows you may want to look for a utility called WinGrep, which does
the same basic thing.

Do a search for  PS_* , you should get the results you want.  The only
problems I can see is perhaps getting returns on tables mentioned in
comments, In UNIX you can tell it to ignore comment lines.

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has written a sqr that will scan all the sqrs
and sqcs in a specified directory and create a listing of all the tables
used by each sqr in the directory.  We are in the process of upgrading
from PeopleSoft 7.6 to PeopleSoft 8.0 and need a quick way to analyze
existing sqrs and list tables currently being used by the sqrs.
