We are not a unix shop at my office, but oddly enough I have some code for
you.  A few years ago at a PeopleSoft conference a gentleman from the
University of Florida made a presentation on how to send EMail from SQR in a
Unix environment.  We downloaded the code but it didn't seem to be of any
use for our environment.  We implemented a different solution.  I still have
the code that we downloaded from Univ of Florida.  I am sending that code to
your Yahoo account as to not clog the SQR Users Email with unwanted zip
files.

I need to create an email from SQR interface program, when my interface
program fails due to any unexpected error . I need to alert technical
support person throgh an eamil. So far I don't have any clue about how to do
it. If anyone have any idea or prior experience of doing it, please help me
