Thank you very much for your prompt reply, let me tell you more about the 
environment here, here we are running 4 sqr automated processes using process 
scheduler on unix, and need to alert technical support person using an email or 
pager message in case of process failure due any unexpected error.
Could you please let me know if you have more details how do it.
I will be grateful to you a lot.

program fails due to any unexpected error . I need to alert technical
support person throgh an eamil. So far I don't have any clue about how to do
