Hi Richard,
Actually the SQR is generating a wordmerge report by calling a word macro. What I need is actually convert it to a pdf format. I find a freeware 'ghostscript' which can convert a PS file to a pdf file. The only step I need now is to automate the "Print to File" (in PS format) option of word.
Since it is a wordmerge and not a SQR report, I can't use the set print-type option.

Why not set your printer-type to PS?
