Date Wild cards in stored Procedures??

I use Microsoft Query within Excel to extract data from the SQL server by using 
 Stored Procedures set up for me by the IT dept.

eg.,           exec moy_stockissues '20020630'

Instead of having to change the date every day by editing the query..is there a 
form of words that I can put in place of the date that would mean..." Today"   
or " Today + 1"  .... or can the "SQL date"  be  made to refer to an Excel cell 
???
