 Hi Guys,

Thanks for the suggestions so far but none are working. I am able to connect 
via sql plus to any of our databases, I can connect in 2 or 3 tier mode to 
PeopleSoft. I can run  any of the SQR's via the panels in PeopleSoft either on 
the server or on my workstation... I just can't run SQR independent of PS. My 
login is the system administrator login for our databases so "rights" is not an 
issue.
Earlier I was having problems with multiple oracle homes on my workstation and 
this was preventing me from logging into PS using 2 tier. I removed all Oracle 
from my workstation and re-installed a single client an BANG PS was back to 2 
or 3 tier access. I have never been able to get SQRW working (Independent of 
PS) during this time. My gut says sqr does not know where my Oracle DLL's are 
located and is not using them but I don't know how to tell which connection 
method SQR is using.

The error message indicates that there is a problem with the profile you are
using to connect to the database. Use a profile that has rights to the
database not your Peoplesoft id/password. You can check the PSAPPSRV.CFG in
the application server and check what connect id/password it is using. You
can also ask your DBA to give a profile that has rights to the database.

If the error persists then check you SQR.ini settings since SQRW is a client
only runtime environment.
